Robert Shapiro
    Global Head of Trading and Execution Consulting, Bloomberg Tradebook LLCRobert Shapiro joined Bloomberg Tradebook in 2010 as the Global Head of Trading and Execution Consulting.

    Prior to joining Bloomberg Tradebook, Rob was the chief operating officer of global trading for Morgan Stanley Investment Management where he oversaw trade optimization products and strategies, such as trading technology, trade analytics, execution strategy and performance measurement tools. Rob moved to Morgan Stanley Investment Management in 2007 from Abel Noser, Inc. where he served as the senior vice president of advanced trading strategies. Rob also served as head trader of Iridian Asset Management from 1999 to 2004.

    Rob began his Wall Street career as an international equity proprietary trader and sales trader at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Inc. before working as a institutional research salesperson at Kempen and Co USA and SEB Enskilda Securities, Inc.

    Rob earned a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
