Citigroup has hired Rick Seidenstein, former European head of equities technology at Lehman Brothers, as the firm's new global head of equities institutional sales and trading technology.
Seidenstein will be based in London and report to Tim Clark and Ravi Radhakrishnan, Citigroup's global co-heads of equities and prime finance technology.
Seidenstein spent six years at Lehman in various roles, from head of global program trading to head of execution services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The announcement comes on the heels of Citi's recent focus on expanding its Citi Match dark pool and execution products and services in Europe and Asia reported yesterday.
