Chi-X Europe will be donating all net trading revenues generated on Friday, May 8, 2009 to the Macmillan Cancer Support charity organization.

Macmillan Cancer Support, which aims to improve the lives of those affected by cancer with medical, emotional and financial support, was selected as Chi-X's charity of choice in November of 2008.

In a statement, Robert Barnes, Managing Director Equities at UBS Investment Bank and Chairman of the LIBA Securities Trading Committee, said, "Chi-X Europe deserves thanks for raising the profile of Macmillan's work. This is a great opportunity for market participants to show that they care."
