Market Data Software Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Market Data Software Engineer will have significant skills in object oriented programming (preferably C++) to work with small groups of engineers to design and refine financial market feed software that combine with Exegy's hardware and firmware modules to form a high performance, tightly integrated software/hardware computing appliance. The engineers develop real-time, high-performance, fault-tolerant server software components and spend time working with hardware and firmware engineers to design and integrate software, hardware and firmware components.Qualifications
•Strong background in algorithms and data structures.
•Experience with Object Oriented Design and concepts.
•Excellent C++ programming skills
•Market Data/Trading/Data Feed experience is a plus
•Strong background in unit testing and integration.
•Understanding of Windows & Unix operating systems and programming environments.
•BS or higher in Computer Science and/or relevant industry experience.
