JOB DESCRIPTION

My client is looking for a Software Engineer to join an established, successful, US-based HFT group that is building out a new group in HK focusing on Asian markets. The successful applicant will participate in all aspects of a high frequency trading operation. The role offers an opportunity to get started working with automated trading technologies and writing trading strategy software. They are looking for well-rounded, driven individuals with a strong background in Computer Science. Ideal candidates would be strong C/C++ programmers with interests in algorithms and computational sciences and well-grounded in systems level disciplines. They must also have familiarity with Linux/UNIX. Responsibilities include building infrastructure, research tools, and developing parts of trading strategies. This is a chance to join a small but growing group – with broad exposure and the chance to work with highly talented and successful colleagues in a challenging yet open environment.

Additional Info

Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a scientific or engineering field
- 3+ years of programming experience
- Strong C/C++
- Experience with Unix-based systems
- Some form of scripting language, Python/Ruby/Perl
