Shoreline Trading Group has appointed Fedrik Schilling managing director of prime brokerage sales operations.

Previously, Schilling was global head of prime brokerage services at Barclays Capital and also helped build Bear Stearns' prime brokerage offering.

Kurtis Kupiec, a Senior Partner at Shoreline, said in a statement, "Today's market environment continues to present asset managers and hedge funds with a variety of complex challenges as they seek to perform for their end investors.
