Ken Griffin's Citadel Investment Group is suing its former trader Misha Malayshev and two other traders, alleging that the formation of their new firm, Teva Technologies, violated a non-compete agreement that they had with Chicago-based Citadel, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.

The identity of the new firm, Teva Technologies LLC, became public this week when it hired and fired the former Goldman Sachs computer programmer, Serge Aleynikov, who was charged by the U.S. government with stealing software code from Goldman's high-frequency trading business
