On December 21, former Silicon Valley sales manager James Fleishman might get a prison sentence that easily thwarts the record 11 years that Rajaratnam got for insider trading. Fleishman, a former employee at Primary Global Research, is facing up to 25 years after being convicted in September of conspiracy to commit both securities and wire fraud. Prosecutors convinced a jury that Fleishman illegally leaked confidential information about publically-traded technology firms like Dell Inc. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. to hedge funds.
